Emily Journal

One of the joys of a walk in the woods is to see what treasures have been left behind. The Emily Journal has woodpecker feathers in black and white on the front, set against a woodgrain background, and a little red heart hiding on the back.

The colors in this piece are white, black, red and antique black. Because I make each piece entirely by hand, and the leather is a natural material that is hand-dyed, some variation is to be expected.

This journal fits books approximately 5.5x8 inches (large moleskine size), and has a snap closure. I will provide a filler book and you can refill it when you run out of space.

I start with a thick tooling leather and cut, brand, paint and dye it before covering it with a protective finish to keep the colors safe. This book has a snap closure.

CUSTOM INSCRIPTION: This piece can have a custom inscription on the inside of the front cover. It includes up to 300 characters of your choosing, including spaces and punctuation.
