Ronja Journal

Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, I have a special affinity for the cold, damp, woods. The beautiful ferns and varieties of mushrooms that can be found in the forest, and the flowers that bloom on the forest floor are some of my favorite sights. The Ronja Journal is inspired by the beauty of these forest adventures.

The colors in this piece are red, green, yellow, white and antique brown. Because I make each piece entirely by hand, and the leather is a natural material that is hand-dyed, some variation is to be expected.

This journal fits books approximately 5.5x8 inches (large moleskine size), and has a snap closure. I will provide a filler book and you can refill it when you run out of space.

I start with a thick tooling leather and cut, brand, paint and dye it before covering it with a protective finish to keep the colors safe. This book has a snap closure.
