Allyson Mini Stewardess

Working through my mandala pieces in the pre-covid era, the idea of cycles was inescapable. As we’ve endured these last two years, I’ve felt time both go faster than ever before and also seem to stagnate. This piece is an evolution of my mandalas - the circular study of time through moon phases, and the astrological signs.

As with each of my pieces, this piece is handcrafted from full-grain vegetable tanned tooling leather that I cut, brand, paint and dye by hand before applying a protective topcoat. It is hand-stitched using a waxed nylon thread and a saddle stitch. It has a zippered closure and two handles.

Dimensions: 11” tall by 13” by 3”

This sweet purse is perfect for every-day. Just a smidge smaller than my original Stewardess bag, but still large and lightweight enough that you can fit everything you need in it and not feel weighed down.
