The Sideways Blaise Strap

Like the original Blaise strap, the handmade leather Sideways Blaise Strap has a wonderful texture and deep carving throughout the entire length.  Unlike the original, however, the carving lines on the Sideways Blaise Strap run perpendicular to the length of the strap rather than parallel with it for a completely different look.  The lines are highlighted with a silver paint, showing off the ridges and detail.

The strap measures 2.5" wide and comes in two different styles. The symmetrical strap (top) adjusts from 45" to 58" and comes with two strap adjusters, one for each end.  The traditional strap (bottom) comes with two strap adjusters (one long and one short) and adjusts from 38" to 52".  Each has holes at both ends to attach to the strap pins on a guitar, but we also provide a leather lace to attach it to the neck of the instrument.  Either strap can be used with guitar, bass, banjo or dobro.  We recommend the symmetrical strap for cradle-style hold on a banjo.

As with all Moxie and Oliver pieces, this strap is cut, branded, painted and dyed by hand and finished with a protective coat.
