The Clarke Strap

Finally - a plaid guitar strap to go with your plaid tie! Or vest, lumberjack shirt, or kilt.  This handmade leather guitar strap is in the Clarke pattern, a slightly modernized plaid, set on a diagonal on a leather guitar strap.

The strap measures 2.5" wide and comes in two different styles. The symmetrical strap (top) adjusts from 45" to 58" and comes with two strap adjusters, one for each end.  The traditional strap (bottom) comes with two strap adjusters (one long and one short) and adjusts from 38" to 52".  Each has holes at both ends to attach to the strap pins on a guitar, but we also provide a leather lace to attach it to the neck of the instrument.  Either strap can be used with guitar, bass, banjo or dobro.  We recommend the symmetrical strap for cradle-style hold on a banjo.

As with all Moxie and Oliver pieces, this strap is cut, branded, painted and dyed by hand and finished with a protective coat.
